Newton Dog Park: A Dream Realized
We are proud to announce that the Newton Dog Park is now fully funded and open to the public! What started as a dream became a collective reality, thanks to the support of our amazing community. Blue Skies Pet Care is honored to have spearheaded this initiative, offering a safe space for our furry friends to play and socialize.
Ongoing and Annual Events
Wishbones for Pets
During the latter part of each year, we host the Wishbones for Pets charity drive. This initiative focuses on collecting essential items for pets in need and distributing them to local animal shelters.
Puppies & Popsicles at Bethel College
In collaboration with Bethel College's NAMI chapter, we engage in the much-anticipated "Puppies & Popsicles" event. It's a fun day where students can relieve stress by interacting with our adorable pups while enjoying tasty treats.

WAAL Partnership and Pets for Life Program
As part of our outreach efforts, Blue Skies Pet Care is collaborating with the Wichita Animal Action League (WAAL) to provide Basic Manners classes through the Pets for Life Program. This partnership helps us offer free training services, making it easier for families to access valuable pet care resources. We look forward to continuing this program and further contributing to our community’s well-being.
Behavior Wellness Partnerships
Blue Skies Pet Care partners with local humane societies and veterinary clinics through our Behavioral Wellness Program, offering comprehensive educational packets on dog care and training. This collaborative effort enriches our community by providing pet owners with the resources they need to raise happy, well-adjusted, and well-trained pets.
02 Fur Life Pet Oxygen Masks
We sponsored the acquisition of pet-specific oxygen masks for local fire departments, contributing to the safety and well-being of pets in emergency situations.
