Newton friends, we’re so excited to share somethin Newton friends, we’re so excited to share something meaningful with our community:Blue Skies Pet Care has officially launched a free, 24/7 Microchip Scan Station at 327 W 12th Street, right along the public sidewalk at the corner of 12th & Ash.This station was created for one simple reason: to help lost pets get home faster, any time of day or night. If you ever find a pet who is safe to handle, you can bring them to the station, follow the clear step-by-step guide, and check for a microchip right away. If a chip is found, you’ll be able to contact the microchip company for the information needed to begin contacting the owner immediately. If no chip is detected, the station also walks you through the next safest steps until local animal resources reopen.By making microchip scanning available around the clock, we hope to keep more pets out of shelters and back where they belong as quickly as possible. This project is rooted in the same belief that guides everything we do at Blue Skies Pet Care: strong communities look out for each other, and that includes the pets who depend on us.If you stop by the station, we’d love to hear about it. And if you see someone searching for a lost pet or trying to reunite a found pet, please share this resource with them so they know help is always nearby.More information, including a short walkthrough video of how the station works, is coming soon.#microchip #newtonks #newton #petlovers #kansas

🐴❄️ Happy (okay, belated) National Day of the Hors 🐴❄️ Happy (okay, belated) National Day of the Horse! You know your horse best - their routines, quirks, and what helps them feel secure. When you need to be away, the challenge is making sure that same level of care continues in your absence. That’s where thoughtful horse sitting comes in. By following your established routines, using calm, experienced handling, and paying close attention to the small details, your horse stays comfortable, safe, and settled at home - just as you intend. The result? You can step away knowing your horse is in capable, caring hands, and they get to stay in the environment where they feel most confident. Horses give us so much, and supporting the care you’ve already built for them is a responsibility we take seriously.Looking for support that fits your horse’s routine while you’re away?👉 https://blueskiespetcare.com/pet-care-services/vacation-pet-sitting/
