Is this the right kind of training?
Our dog training services are designed for families who want individualized, professional support. Dog training isn’t just about teaching behaviors. It’s about strengthening the relationship between you and your dog, so daily life feels calmer, clearer, and more connected.
Our in-home training is a good fit if you’re looking for:
- A deeper understanding of your dog, not just instructions to follow
- Guidance that helps you and your dog learn together
- Support that builds trust, communication, and confidence
- Help with leash walking, reactivity, puppy foundations, or everyday manners
- Training that fits into real routines, not a facility schedule
This may not be the best fit if you’re looking for:
- A program that trains your dog away from you
- A hands-off solution with minimal human involvement
- Drop-in or facility-based training as a first step

"She worked wonderfully with Raven and me. She was a great trainer and Raven and I learned a lot. I do recommend her for anyone needing training for their dog. " - Kim Fiessinger, Newton KS
Ways to Work With Us
Every dog-human relationship is different. Our in-home training options are designed to meet you where you are and support learning within the relationship you already have with your dog.
We currently offer several private, in-home training pathways. Small group classes will be available soon as an additional option for families who may be a good fit for that format.
Consultation Program
A focused, one-time, in-home training session.
Consultations are ideal for families who want:
- Professional insight into what’s really happenin
- Help understanding their dog’s behavior and needs
- Clear direction before deciding on next stepsDuring your consultation, your trainer will observe, listen, and help you make sense of your dog’s behavior. You’ll have a practical plan and a clearer understanding of how to support your dog moving forward, along with a month of support via email following the consultation.
Some families find this is all they need. Others choose to continue into ongoing training for additional guidance and practice.
One-on-One Private Coaching **Most Popular**
Weekly ongoing, one-on-one training sessions centered in your home and practical environments.
Private coaching is designed for families who want to:
- Build skills that fit your routine and your dog’s needs
- Strengthen communication with their dog
- Feel more confident handling real-life situations and environments
Sessions are collaborative and flexible, with an emphasis on helping you read your dog, respond clearly, and support learning in a way that builds trust rather than frustration.
This option works well for puppies, behavior challenges, and households that value hands-on, relationship-centered support.
Homeschool or "Day Training"
Daytime training sessions multiple times each week over multiple weeks, designed to accelerate learning while keeping dogs happy at home.
Homeschool training is a good fit for families who want to:
- Provide multiple, focused one-on-one training sessions each week for their dog during the day, without needing to be present
- Accelerate skill development through consistent practice in the home environment
- Training can intentionally expand beyond the home to help dogs practice in new real-life settings they will encounter.
- Learn how to follow through and support continued progress through scheduled skill-transfer sessions designed for humans!
Unlike board & train programs - where dogs often return home without their humans fully knowing how the training was achieved - this approach keeps learning transparent, collaborative, and sustainable over the long term. This approach allows dogs to stay home, skills are built where life happens, and humans are fully equipped to support ongoing progress.

Why Relationship-Focused, In-Home Training
Dogs don’t live in training facilities. They live with you.
In-home training allows us to:
- Work within the relationship you already have with your dog
- Support learning where challenges actually occur
- Reduce stress and confusion for both dog and human
- Build communication that carries into everyday life
Rather than sending your dog away to be trained by someone else, we focus on helping you become a confident, capable partner for your dog. That’s what creates change that lasts.
