In the News: NAMI Puppy Party for Bethel College Students

May 14, 2014 ashley Public Event

This article about Blue Skies Pet Care ran in The Kansan Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

Sherlock (German Shepherd), Shadow (Husky), Lily (Golden Retriever), and I had a fantastic time Monday while visiting students at Bethel College and helping them de-stress during finals. Sherlock was happy to attend as Blue Skies Pet Care’s Head Spokespuppy and his two house-mates were glad to come help!

A special “thank you” goes out to Bethel College’s National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapter for arranging the NAMI’s Puppy Party and for the two additional pet owners that each brought a dog, as well. The students enjoyed them immensely and the five dogs enjoyed the attention and opportunity to play. I hope this becomes a annual or twice-annual event around finals to help students work through finals.
