Bringing Basic Manners Training to Planeview
Our Head Trainer, Vanessa Hajek, is leading a five-week Basic Manners class within the Planeview community. This program is designed to assist families in learning essential dog manners, promoting positive behaviors, and strengthening the bond between pets and their owners. We are currently helping five families through this program, providing them with the tools they need for a harmonious relationship with their pets.
About the Pets for Life Program
Launched in January 2023, the Pets for Life program aims to bridge the gap between systemic inequality and equality in pet care. As the only rescue in Kansas offering this program, the Wichita Animal Action League focuses on building trust and relationships between pets and their owners by providing accessible and free resources. This initiative is vital in ensuring that all pet owners have the support they need to care for their animals.
Positive Reinforcement and Science-Based Training
At Blue Skies Pet Care, we emphasize the importance of positive reinforcement and science-based training methods. These approaches not only foster a deeper bond between pets and their owners but also promote behaviors that contribute to a harmonious household and community.
