I am very excited to introduce a name and web access to Blue Skies Pet Care. Prior to 6/30/2010, Blue Skies ran entirely under my name. The new name came to me a while ago and I just could not shake the idea of calling my business this.
Kansas is known for her skies and how truly beautiful they are. Very few places do you see a horizon like ours. That is probably one of the reasons why the Blue Sky Sculpture by Epp, Corbett, and Snyder is so important to Newton. If you have not seen it in person, please visit it at Centennial Park.
Mr. Epp, as a teacher, wanted to leave a lasting impression on his students. He always seemed to have a way of representing the world around us with meaning. Although I still can’t produce a quality sculpture to save my life (but bless him for making me keep adding “MORE DETAIL!” to my clay kitty), I do have a heartfelt appreciation for the sky under which we live.
So, as I was saying, Blue Skies Pet Care is born. Today I am unveiling our public web pages so you can start to read about the goals and meaning behind “professional pet care.”
Blue Skies Pet Care looks forward to serving you and your pets in the future!
